This position is accountable for processing incoming orders on a daily basis. By reviewing order content and shipment date commitments the orders are schedule for engineering, material procurement, and assembly. Software aids in schedule creation however attention to detail and accurate data entry is imperative.
Responsibilities include:
1. Sorts incoming orders and engineering drawings.
2. Schedules incoming orders (new and change orders).
3. Completes system data changes for offloading to other production facilities.
4. Prepares engineering folders and delivers completed folders to required destination.
5. Utilizes a base knowledge of SE products and their use.
6. Maintains accurate and complete documentation of customer communication and action taken. Maintains and updates profiles.
Required Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.
Ability to interact with engineering and manufacturing personnel.
Excellent problem resolution skills.
Must be able to effectively utilize time to balance internal/external communication.
Preferred Competencies:
Experience working with field sales, consulting engineers, distributors, and installation contractors.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Prefer 0 to 2 years customer service experience. Inter-personal skills are also essential in order to maintain the strong team atmosphere that currently exists within our group.
