Job Description: Maintain student
safety; Teach and train welders according to AWS (American Welding
Society) Standards; Meet deadlines for record keeping.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED
Certification in Welding
Teaching experience
Must be current in welding procedures (certified to ASME Section
IX) or NCCER certification and the ability to pass a pipe welding test. Valid driver's license

Qualifications: An associate degree in Welding and teaching experience with NCCER certification. Knowledgeable in blueprint reading, basic metallurgy, heat treating, basic math, and metrics. Have the patience and temperament to provide instruction to students of all ages and backgrounds. Ability to lift 50lbs and perform in a smoky/dusty work environment.
Additional Comments:
CE Instructors are hired based upon courses being offered. This applicant pool does not guarantee a position with the CE Division.
