Plans, coordinates and assists the Executive Director for Institutional Advancement in support of fundraising activities for the department. Provides and performs a variety of detailed administrative support and technical services to the Executive Director for Institutional Advancement. Duties to include but not limited to: Maintain institutional advancement database for communication and tracking and the financial records for the TCL Foundation. Coordinate institutional advancement communication and events with Development, Public Relations, Vice President, and President offices. Assist with grant research and coordination with appropriate college offices. College Liaison with Mather Alumni. Represents the College in the community assisting the Executive Director with maintaining working relationships with public sector. Assist Executive Director with Board schedules, meetings, and events. Assist coordination of Foundation's scholarship program and Capital Campaign. Plan, coordinate, and/or perform other functions as directed by supervisor including financial statements. Unofficial college transcripts are required and must be attached to the online application.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and two years relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or an associate degree and four years of relevant work experience. Knowledge of accounting
principles, including fund accounting, required. Master's degree preferred. Superb communications skills and manners required. Ability to positively interact with numerous people from diverse backgrounds in group and individual settings. Be familiar and comfortable with the terminology and research practices for higher education institutional advancement, grants and foundation work. Know and use the principles, policies and practices of office management. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task. Keen attention to detail. Competent in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks. Copy of unofficial college transcripts required when applying.

Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
