Advertising Sales Representative

The Konnected Magazine is expanding and we are growing our sales staff with articulate, innovative, passionately results driven, customer centric, business minded individuals who can align with our Konnected mission and proudly promote the Konnected brand.
The Konnected Advertising Sales Representative is a straight commission based position at 30% commission for each unit sold with no earning limit. Some training will be provided.
We are seeking candidates with the following
Qualifications:
Self-Starter and Organized
Relationship Builder and Networker
Possess Initiative with Strong Assessment and Negotiating Skills
Professional Demeanor with Personable Approach
Customer Centric
Ability to work Independently as well as in a Group setting
Requirements:
This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), computer and cell phone savvy, a dependable vehicle and effective organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Promote and Increase magazine sales
Place magazines in local businesses for sale.
Acquire Individual Sales.
Secure new clients for advertisement sales.
Retain current client base with follow- up solicitation.
Establish business relationships to encourage repeat or referral business.
Up sale marketing packages.
Maintain accurate sales reporting.
The Konnected Magazine serves an urban audience of music and entertainment enthusiast. Highlighting the hottest up and coming independent artist as well as celebrated entertainers. The Konnected Magazine is a graphically attractive page turner. Our current reach spans from as far north as Michigan, as far east as New York, as far west as Arizona and as far south as Florida - capturing major cities. It can be found in book stores, shops and boutiques and various clubs with a blended reader demographic in age and ethnicities. We have that appeal because its better to stay Konnected.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
