What do we do? EBAS partners with the regulatory community, offering an exam that assesses a licensee's understanding of ethics and boundaries in a professional setting.
ROLE
Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, researching and generating leads, marketing EBAS exams, qualifying prospects, and obtaining new clients.
The BDM will develop and manage a consistent opportunity pipeline of qualified prospects, and present EBAS offerings in a compelling way.
OVERVIEW OF ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Build relationships and generate leads by nurturing warm prospects from numerous marketing and alliance channels, and identify new, potential sales outlets.
Actively prospect for new clients primarily through LinkedIn, phone conversations, email communications, and virtual meetings, as well as through in-person meetings and events.
Schedule and timely conduct meetings and calls.
Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads to sales opportunities.
Meet or exceed sales goals and other established metrics.
Manage and maintain contact records of clients and prospects.
Identify best practices to refine the EBAS lead generation playbook.
Conduct consumer research to identify how EBAS solutions meet client needs.
Identify potential changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Meet virtually with the EBAS Executive Director to review potential clients and make recommendations for changes in products, services, and policies.
In-person meetings in the NBCE headquarters' office in Greeley, Colorado may occasionally be required.
Report to the EBAS Executive Director weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
Attend EBAS marketing events as an ambassador of EBAS, establish a professional network, and represent EBAS at regulatory meetings and conferences.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Five (5) years of sales or marketing experience, and strong understanding of the sales process.
Proven successful track record of researching and generating leads, and achieving sales quotas and assigned targets for meetings, demos, and qualified leads.
Strong prospecting, qualifying, consultative selling, and closing skills and experience.
Excellent communication skills via social media, phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce or other CRM software.
Ability to build trust and rapport.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills and abilities.
Ability to travel to meetings, events, and conferences, as required.
Valid North Carolina driver license and acceptable driving record.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Experience serving public sector, regulatory, and/or government agency clients.

COMPENSATION:
First year base compensation up to $75,000, based on qualifications and experience, plus commission and bonus potential.
