8 Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description Responsible for loading and unloading Supply Depot products being received for inventory and/or being shipped to customers.
Operates forklift in order to load or unload products.
Fills customer orders ensuring orders are picked accurately and products are packaged and loaded into vehicles for proper and safe transport.
Receives products and materials returned to the Supply Depot and assures cargo area of vehicle is prepared to deliver supplies.
Ensures that items are loaded and secured properly before transporting.
Works directly with drivers assigned to load and unload items.
Operates Class B and C commercial vehicles to transport Supply Depot products to local and statewide customers.
Performs pre-trip and post-trip maintenance inspections on equipment, upkeep and general maintenance to equipment and vehicles.
Reviews delivery routes, manifest, and inspect vehicles before transporting products.
Records activities for each trip by completing a trip log report, noting times of arrivals and departures at each stop, items being returned to the Supply Depot and any discrepancies or problems during the trip.
Provides assistance with executing duties associated with special projects such as delivering products and materials during emergency situations, and providing support to other units within the department.
Performs scheduled maintenance to Supply Depot grounds, which includes grass mowing, plant and tree branch trimming, debris removal, and pavement sweeping.
Assists in performing maintenance duties in order to enhance beautification of property.
Inspects buildings regularly for deficiencies.
Reports repairs to supervisor and assist with general repairs.
Assists in coordinating the receiving, storage, and disposal of obsolete, junked, and unserviceable property.
Unloads vehicles delivering property to the Supply Depot and organizes property for inspection by the Surplus Property Office and assists in loading property for transport.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
A high school diploma and one (1) year of work experience directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
Necessary Special Requirement:
A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required upon entry to the position.
Requires attainment of a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six (6) months of placement in the position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
