6 Full-time 16 hours ago Full Job Description The purpose of the class is to perform advanced level of planning and design activities for the area assigned.
Perform professional and technical work in the review and processing of plans for development within the County, including projects related to raw land development, water and sewer extensions, storm drainage systems, street and building construction, subdivision development, rezoning and planned developments; to assist in enforcing the County's zoning and subdivision ordinances; to provide training and leadership of assigned staff, and to perform related work as required.
The class works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision.
Requires Bachelor's degree from and accredited four year college or university in urban or regional planning, landscape architecture, engineering or a closely related field.
Requires a minimum of four (4) years relevant experience.
Must possess a valid state driver's license.
American Institute of Certified Planners certification is desirable.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
