Housekeeping Manager Major Job Responsibility:
To contribute to an attractive and clean hotel in accordance with the standards of Franchisor/SREE by providing public space cleaning of customer floors, hallways, and service areas Job Duties:
1.
Meets and exceeds customer and team member expectations by providing service and teamwork Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed Handles difficult situations effectively Meets SREE service standards Performs other duties as required to provide service and teamwork 2.
Maintains the overall cleanliness of the hotel's public space by cleaning all assigned areas thoroughly on a daily basis Cleans public areas including; floors, elevators, lobbies, hallways, vending areas, service areas, stairwells, and work out room Completes work projects as assigned by supervisor and management.
Cleans and polishes floors, windows, mirrors, vending machines, and ice machines Vacuums, shampoos, and removes gum spots from carpets as required Removes all litter from public space Dusts all spots thoroughly Performs other cleaning duties as required 3.
Uses housekeeping chemicals as necessary to clean assigned areas to standard Prevents any damage to hotel property by exercising proper caution with chemicals 4.
Maximizes job efficiency and neat, orderly appearance by maintaining supply cart and vacuum cleaner Stocks supply cart correctly Places cart and vacuum cleaner according to operational procedures Replaces and/or empties vacuum cleaner bag on a regular basis 5.
Insures the rapid maintenance and repair of hotel equipment by reporting all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner 6.
Turns in articles found in public space to lost and found 7.
Adheres to hotel policies and procedures Attends work on time as scheduled Follows hotel grooming and dress standards Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures Follows key control procedures 8.
Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance 9.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position 10.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate 11.
At all times projects a favorable image of SREE and the hotel to the public 12.
Performs such other ancillary and related duties as may be assigned by the supervisors and or Manager.
13.
Must achieve required threshold scores according to brand and SREE inspections.
