This is a high visibility position, responsible for the daily activities on the job site, ensuring that project renovations are progressing per established specifications, drawings, and project schedules to secure client satisfaction.
Position will report directly to the Project Manager.
Job Requirements 10 or more years of experience as a Superintendent over multiple groups including plumbers and mechanical trades personnel.
Ability to use email and basic Microsoft Office product experience (Word, Excel).
Complete and thorough understanding of all contractual specifications and drawings.
Possess exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Valid Driver's License.
Successful completion of background check and appropriate security clearances.
Minimum OSHA 30.
Job Responsibilities Coordinate daily activities of trades on job site.
Superintendent confers with and directs supervisory personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers engaged in planning and executing work procedures regarding the renovation of McNamara Terminal restrooms.
Prepares daily report for tracking crew sizes, work completed, weather, delays, and other situations on-site that must be documented.
Receives daily deports from subcontractors working on-site.
Review information for accuracy and use this information in preparing daily report.
Maintain and update as-built drawings for the project as required by the contract.
Responsible for scheduling subcontractors, delivery of material, and procurement of tools to job site.
This task completed in conjunction with the project schedule to ensure the job completes on-time.
Confer with supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce.
Be responsible for holding trades to a level 5 finish throughout the process.
Assist in ensuring, and will be responsible for, all safety measures all safety measures are enforced on the job site.
Will also function as a safety officer on the project when required.
Assist with the preparation of monthly invoices to the client.
Assist with the review of invoices from subcontractors and suppliers.
Understand and coordinate change orders as they arise.
