If you are looking to fuel your professional development and gain exposure in the field of Accounting, apply today! This position's responsibilities include supporting the Bank, District, and Association financial reporting processes.
This includes assisting in the preparation of various reporting requirements and ensuring that financial reports remain compliant with GAAP and FCA disclosure requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of the Bank's quarterly and annual reports to Shareholders' including the financial statements, footnotes, MD&A and other required disclosures Assist in the completion of the Bank's Call Report, capital ratios, internal management reporting, and other miscellaneous reports as needed Assist in the preparation of the District's quarterly and annual reporting duties including the report to Shareholders', MASK, and supplemental schedules Assist in the completion of the quarterly and annual Association reports to Shareholders' including the financial statements and associated footnotes Assist in researching in new accounting standards impacting required disclosures and to help ensure that all required disclosures are being met within quarterly and annual Shareholders' reports Assist in the review of GL data to ensure that the Bank and Association GLs are accurate and are closed in a timely manner monthly Custom Processes-Identify areas of improvement within Finance and work to make processes more efficient, more accurate, more consistent, or more user-friendly Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations to be provided to the Bank's Board of Directors, Ratings Agencies, and other entities on an as-needed basis Projects - Assist with ongoing technology initiatives and upgrades as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration 3-5 years of comparable experience with a background in the financial industry Self-motivated and able to work independently Strong conceptual and analytical skills Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred Attentive to details-accurate and thorough Good organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands Effective oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of Bank/Association staff #LI-OM Are you ready for a career with us that will impact more than you ever imagined?
