Systems Analyst/Project Leader

Job Description The Systems Analyst/Project Leader performs a project leadership role.
This position contributes an advanced level of technical, business, and administrative skills related to the design and implementation of new technologies and software systems.
May often come from a senior programming background and thus may often have advanced programming skills as well as project leadership skills.
This person has advanced experience leading application software projects using the Agile development methodology.
Will often mentor Business Analysts and Programmer/Analysts on how to lead projects and bring projects in on time and within budget.
Will work with the RCIT Business Analysts to interview customers to determine current/future application software requirements and to write requirements definitions.
Performs feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, product research, system design, coordinates system implementation, develops acceptance criteria, coordinates acceptance testing, coordinates system conversions, coordinates the integration of new systems to existing systems, and conducts postimplementation reviews.
This position does not have administrative authority over staff, but does exercise project authority over staff and often oversees the day-to-day project activities of staff.
May perform advanced programming tasks.
Regularly interacts with Richland County department heads and their designated representatives.
Travels to computer sites throughout the County.
Regularly interacts with outside consultants and outside vendors.
Must possess a valid South Carolina Driver's License Recommended Skills Acceptance Testing Administration Agile Methodology Feasibility Studies Project Management Research Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
