Business Analyst- Project Lead- (11021-1)

Department of Administration Scope of the project:
The South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) Team is requesting the services of a senior consultant to assist in the design and development of Business Objects dashboards and reports in the SAP environment.
The consultant will provide technical analysis and expertise to optimize universes and data structures; coordinate the development of functional specifications; design and develop requested reports and dashboards in a quality manner; create detail documentation that facilitates the use and future modification of these reports and dashboards; and provide extensive knowledge transfer sessions for IT and business users in the use of Business Objects tools and techniques.
The State of SC has implemented the following modules of SAP across all state agencies:
FI, FM, HR, Payroll, SRM, CRM, Treasury Management, BW, Business Objects.
The consultant will design, develop, edit and maintain queries using Business Objects tools and techniques to support reporting requirements and data integration tasks across a broad spectrum of applications and uses.
The consultant will coordinate activities with SCEIS to ensure decisions, recommendations and work products are in compliance with best practices and established standards.
Daily Duties /
Responsibilities:
oInteract with SCEIS personnel and agencies to gather/develop functional and technical requirements and translate them into proposed business intelligence applications and reporting solutions.
oCoordinate with SCEIS personnel and agencies to design, develop, and maintain complex business intelligence reporting and analytical solutions using various Business Objects tools and techniques.
oCreate and present prototypes to users as potions, as well as purpose alternative solutions to legacy reports using different technologies and development techniques.
oCreate requirements documents for approval by system owners and business users to be used in the development of reports and dashboards.
oModel, design, develop, test, and implement approved solutions in accordance with business reporting requirements.
oProvide daily support of the existing Business Objects reports and universes with a focus on performing root cause analysis and finding ways to increase efficiencies, improve user satisfaction and reduce cost/time to maintain.
oPerform optimization reviews to consistently improve the universes, data structures, and to improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value.
oCreate detailed documentation, including data dictionaries, during the creation or modification of universes, reports and dashboards.
oAssist business users in downloading and using data from Business Warehouse and Business Objects data to Crystal reports, dashboards, Excel, etc.
for analysis and dissemination to internal and external users.
oServe as a subject matter expert assisting STO with defining and developing treasury management, debt management and investment management reports.
oWork with SCEIS personnel and agencies to determine the best approach to publish new dashboards to agency web sites to promote transparency and access to information by the public.
oWork with SCEIS and DTO personnel to design, test and implement a database to allow for the merging of SCEIS and Non-SCEIS data for the purposes of generating business objects reports and dashboards.
Required Education/Certifications:
oBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, engineering or related discipline; oMinimum of 5 years' experience in the design and development of business intelligence applications and reporting solutions using business objects tools and techniques, preferably in SAP environment; oMinimum 5 years' experience developing complex web intelligence reports, dashboards, crystal reports and advanced excel reports from multi-source business warehouse universes; oMust possess strong knowledge and expertise in sourcing data from SAP business warehouses and non-SAP systems; Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):
oMust have extensive knowledge of Business Objects architecture and components, and the design of complex web intelligence reports and dashboards.
oMust have a strong understanding of business Objects Architecture and integration with SAP and Non-SAP data sources.
oMust have the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical requirements and ultimately into project deliverables.
oMust demonstrate a strong understanding of reporting and analytics principles, theories, concepts and techniques including crating reports/dashboards that enhance the user's experience with SAP.
oDemonstrate a strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
oHave sound knowledge of business warehouse tools, techniques, structures and connectivity/interaction with Business Objects.
Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):
oPreference will be given to qualified candidates who have a working knowledge of SCEIS and existing state reporting requirements and standards.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
