We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Construction Project Manager to join our thriving construction teamThis is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to leverage their skills in construction, project management, MS Project, steel, Procore, storage unit, and construction managementThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Responsibilities:
1Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, including reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.2Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand expectations and work is progressing on schedule and within budget.3Review work progress on a daily basis, resolving any emerging issues swiftly and professionally.4Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists, making effective decisions that drive project success.5Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.6Analyze, manage and mitigate risks, ensuring all safety precautions are adhered to.7Use software such as MS Project and Procore to plan, schedule, and monitor project progress.8Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.9Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and present them to stakeholders.10Implement a comprehensive project plan to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
Qualifications:
1Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.2Minimum of 3 years of proven working experience in construction project management.3Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.4Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.5Proficiency in construction project management software, including MS Project and Procore.6Understanding of all facets of the construction process, including competency in construction, project management, steel, and storage units.7Ability to plan and see the big picture, with excellent time and project management skills.8Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of different team members.9Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with a solid understanding of handling and mitigating project risks.10Ability to problem solve, negotiate, and make decisions that benefit the project.Interested in hearing more?
