Business Systems Analyst II (Hybrid)

DPP is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance.
Work arrangement:
Hybrid, must come onsite 2 days per week W2 position; 12 months Must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and ship.
Summary:
Management of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities:
Process, monitor, and report on security/compliance risk items.
Process new ERM Risk Item submissions.
Monitor the Enterprise.
Security email box for updates to ERM Risk Items.
Process and manage Business Unit s Risk Registers.
(Monthly) Track and report on the ERM Risk Items to CISO.
(Metrics, Reports) Facilitate risk reviews with different levels of management (Level 1, Level 2, ORCA, etc.
).
This includes scheduling meetings, facilitate meetings, recap meetings, and any follow-up or action items.
Create presentations to communicate ERM topics to CISO.
(ERM Updates, ERM Process, PIM, etc.

Experience:
4 years of IT business analysis experience.
Job/class description:

Ensure the proposed technical and business solutions meet the customer's objectives for the work effort.
Provide guidance with planning and prioritization of business support-related activities.
Elicit and document user requirements to meet a business objective.
Identify and validate requirements and organize the information into a logical document that is understood by the customer and Information Systems.
Guide both technical and customer departments in the development of the systems that support the business solution.
Facilitate the transfer of knowledge about the direction of the business units to others who support them.
Ensure the accurate deployment of solutions through review of problem logs, assisting with test plans and test matrices, and other analysis activities.
Provide input on the business direction for system changes.
Validate the business need for solutions to business problems and process improvements.
Assist in the development and documentation of training materials.
Mentor or train less experienced staff.

Demonstrated understanding of concepts of the supported business unit.
Basic knowledge of standard industry practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of procedures for the business unit.
Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to express complex technical and business concepts to all management levels, peers, and the business units.

Understands how IT affects an organization and is able to link it to business processes.
Excellent analytical skills.
Good conceptual skills.
Able to read and comment on test plans and test matrices, project plans, and scope and design documents.

Good communication skills in presenting to customers and senior management both verbally and in writing.
Flexible in adapting to change or developing new security strategies/processes.
Preferred:
Conceptual understanding of project management techniques.
Able to influence and negotiate solutions to business problems.
Visio, MS Project or similar software, data mining using DB2, SQL, and/or other tools.

Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.
Small team, however we work with many Lines of Business (LOB) and teams across the company.
Currently oversee multiple strategies:
Enterprise Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, IAM, Application Security and others.
Support over 20 LOBs under the client s umbrella.
Manage Corporate Security Framework (Security Policies).
Conduct risk assessments periodically and present results to senior management.
Conduct research and analysis on security/compliance related topics.
Part of the I/S Governance committee.
Chair the Policy and I/S Standards Committee.
Engaged in the yearly budget for Security and Compliance activities.
Required education/equivalencies:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree; OR, Associate s degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience; OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 8 years without a degree) Interested? Learn more:
