Job
Summary:
Configures, installs, upgrades, and documents the network infrastructure components within established standards. Collaborates with Sr Network Engineers in network design sessions representing user needs. Performs and/or delegates project tasks to ensure completion by timeline dates. Troubleshoots network hardware/software related problems, resolving help desk cases within service level agreements. Works with customers, architects, and vendors to document infrastructure needs, ensures completed vendor work orders comply with facility drawings and set standards.

Responsibilities:
Performs configuration, installation, upgrades, and documentation of network infrastructure components ensuring adherence to established IT standards.
Collaborates with IT Sr Network Engineers in network design sessions representing user needs based on understanding of project scope.
Prioritizes work assignments including ensuring response to all help desk cases within established service level agreements.
Performs project task responsibilities including delegation to ensure completion within requested timeframes, provides project status updates, and solicits input from IT Sr Network Engineers as needed to maintain adherence to IT standards.
Troubleshoot network hardware/software related problems and appropriately escalates unresolved issues.
Works with customers, architects, and vendors including documenting network infrastructure needs using facility drawings. Validates and ensures vendor''s work complies with drawings and meets facility and IT standards.
Requirements:
Education:High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate''s Degree preferred.
Experience: 4
years of experience in network administration including familiarity with router and switch configuration protocols/standards
License, Registry, or Certification Required: CCNA preferred
