This position is responsible for the interpretation of customer specifications, drawings, and power system requirements as they apply to LV Switchboards and Switchgear. More specific tasks may include: - Layout and configuration of switchgear. - Design of control schemes, utilizing PLCs and/or relays, to accomplish automated transfer operations. - Creation of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD. - Design of ground fault protective schemes, including those involving multiple sources. - Generation of bills of material, and modification of standard assemblies as required to suit the application. - Familiarity with Modbus and TCP/IP communications protocols, and RS-485 and Ethernet interfaces. - Interpreting customer specification requirements - Interaction with corporate customers, field sales and marketing personnel and plant mfg associates. Issues concise instructions via engineering systems to electrical/mechanical design and materials. Develops electrical bill of material, elevation views, layout views, control schematics and elementary drawings for customer specified equipment. Interfaces with field sales, customers, development, manufacturing, order services, and materials during order cycle process. This position includes engineering support for quick resolution of questions and issues regarding QED Switchboard and/or PZ4 Switchgear manufacturing assembly and test.
Requires BSEE with 3-5 years experience in power systems, protection and automation preferred. Experience in AutoCAD and PC based software (Excel, Word, etc.) is required. Ability to use and interpret company and industry codes and standards (ANSI, UL, NEMA, IEEE, etc.). Must be well organized, capable of working on multiple projects with minimal supervision. Strong oral and written communication skills are required for use with internal and external customers.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
