Provide automation support in cooperation with application engineers to meet customer specifications, drawings, and power system controls, as they apply to Low Voltage Switchboards and Switchgear. Create, code and test programmable logic controller (PLC), and human machine interface (HMI) programs for customer applications. Interface with the following groups during order cycle process: quotations, application engineering, project management, contractor/consultant, and manufacturing to meet customer requirements and timelines.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Four year degree from Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering
Strong organizational skills, ability to work multiple orders/changes at same time
Strong oral/written communication skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
PLC programming experience
Familiarity with power transfer scheme theory and design
Application knowledge of switchboards and switchgear
