HOURS: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday; 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Friday; Some evenings and weekends
LOCATION: Airport Campus
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Academic Success Center Coordinator will assist in the management of the Airport Campus Academic Success Center, by monitoring student behavior and computer usage, as well as assisting the ASC Director in the recruitment, screening, hiring, training and supervision of ASC tutors, work-study students and other ASC personnel where appropriate. Responsible for processing tutor and work-study web-time entry timesheets and in the absence of the Director. assist in scheduling tutors as needed by appointment, online and walk-in services on the Airport, Fairfield and Northeast campuses. Maintain ASC support and presence on the Fairfield and Northeast campuses. Will assist students in the utilization of computer software applications and course management software; assist students with troubleshooting computer problems, and ensures that students appropriately identify and sign in for tutoring services. Assist the ASC Director in the development and implementation of new ASC programs and services and identify and recognize through recommendations, surveys, or requests, tutoring needs. Based on recommendations, requests, and results of surveys, coordinate and develop topic specific student workshops offered through the Academic Success Centers in collaboration with other campus departments. Assist in the development of training manuals, handbooks and other marketing tools promoting the services offered by the ASC.; Pprepares appropriate statistical reports as requested by the Director. Ensures that the physical environment of the ASC is in proper working condition; reports all computer problems to appropriate staff.
MINIMUM
Qualifications: Bachelor-s Degree.
PREFERRED
Qualifications: Have one to two (1 - 2) years of professional experience in providing direct services to students in a higher education environment and at least two (2) years managing a Student Learning Center. Professional experience managing multi-campus programs and monitoring/coordinating online tutoring services are also a plus.
HIRING RANGE: $26,139 - $37,250, Band 04, SC State Classification System. Excellent benefits program that includes: employer provided health, dental, and life insurance; paid holidays; sick and annual leave; and state retirement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
