Purpose:
Supports Manufacturing Engineering activities and providing Technical support in the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties
Principle Accountabilities/Duties:
oDevelop Manufacturing Procedures, Shop floor system setups, and evaluation / purchase of Assembly equipment and tools.
oWorks directly with Customers to address and resolve technical issues.
oResponsible for identifying and implementing manufacturing process improvements to improve productivity, workmanship and overall quality of the product
oImplements Manufacturing Procedures per customer specifications ECN-Engineering Change Notices
oDevelop, organize and update Manufacturing work areas, material flow, documentation and system setups for new Products and Features.
oTrains Technicians and Operators on new products, processes and equipment.
oAnalyzes Quality and Jidoka data and implements changes to resolve Assembly problems.
oActively support Lean Kaizen and SGA initiatives as a Team member representing Manufacturing Engineering
oActively support Zero defect initiatives as a Team member representing Manufacturing Engineering

Job Requirements
Minimum (MUST HAVE)
Qualifications:
Individual must be a quick learner and be effective at working in a multi-tasking environment.
Ability to perform job assignments with minimal supervision.
Experience in MSWord, Excel and Web based tools such as Frontpage and HTML
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, design drawings and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
At least 2 years of experience in the area of supporting Manufacturing processes and methods
Preferred (NICE TO HAVE) Qualifications :
Knowledge of Oracle MRP and Shop Floor Manufacturing systems
Lean Green Belt Certification
Education or Training:
BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree required
