THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
Reports to the Director of Operations with direct supervisory responsibility for Production Supervisors and Manufacturing Engineers. Responsible for Safety, Quality, Productivity and delivery performance of all reporting departments. Responsible for planning and coordinating activities with all other departments and functions.
Determines and reviews all manufacturing processes for cost effectiveness and feasibility.
Manages all engineering releases and changes relative to routings, setting standards, data entry, and follow up.
Determines priorities with the Director of Operations and implements cost reduction projects.
Coordinates with Company Health and Safety coordinator on internal safety practices and conformity with regulatory requirements.
Responsible for departmental budgets and conformance.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
BA in Industrial Management or a minimum of five years as a Manufacturing / Quality Engineer.
Strong machining and assembly processing experience required.
Lean Principles and 5S experience
MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.
Knowledge of mechanical principles, machining practices, properties of metals and the application of mathematics and dimensions to create part processes.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
