THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
Supervisory functions necessary for the management of the department including selection and development of employees.
Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the work for completion of chrome-plated and phosphate parts.
Responsible for Safety, Quality, Productivity and Delivery performance of the Surface Treatment Department
Assist with implementation of lean principles and methods, measure lean implementation based on published KPIs and sustain implemented improvements through standardization, training and continuous improvement.
Ensures compliance and coaches employees on the Five S program
Ensure compliance to NADCAP requirements
Prepare chrome line for NADCAP certification
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Bachelors degree in business or a 2 year technical degree
At least 3 years working experience in a metal working environment with knowledge of chrome plating, phosphate and multi-finish line equipment with an understanding of plating theory.
Coating Experience
Practical understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
