Job Description:
The Financial Services industry is operating in a challenging environment due to global economic pressure, increasing regulatory demands and capital requirements as well as significant operational and technology changes. Our growing Financial Services Advisory practice provides management, technology and risk consulting services to help major financial institutions around the world respond to their most complex business challenges. The Financial Services Advisory practice is composed of three industry sectors: Asset Management, Banking & Capital Markets and Insurance.
The Financial Services Delivery Center plays an integral role by supporting projects and PwC engagement teams across the US in delivering distinctive service to clients through standardization and optimization, increased flexibility, and enhanced quality.
PwC partners with our clients to provide that both the technical and functional aspects of their HR or Financial transformation is achieved through looking at the solution holistically and providing a complete solution that meets their business objectives through:
People strategy
HR and Finance transformation
Cloud and/or SaaS technology transformation
Leadership and Talent
Organizational design and alignment
Reward and performance management
Culture
Change management
Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of
Experience: 5
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor s degree
Degree(s) Preferred: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent
Certification(s) Preferred: Workday Services functional certification and/or engagement manager certification
Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of and/or success in roles involving the managing of technical teams and developing staff involved with assisting clients on solution and integration development with Workday or PeopleSoft, including the following areas:
- Requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment;
- Continuous learning related to and/or the direct creation of an enterprise integration strategy, including design and development of integrations, using Workday s proprietary tools and related industry-standard technologies, and the deployment of Workday in large business enterprises or companies; and,
- Continuous learning related to and/or the direct integration of business processes across disparate systems, including systems implementations and adoptions, Workday Service & Support, and/or Workday platform development.
Skills preferred:
Demonstrates extensive abilities and proven success with serving on several global and/or enterprise-wide implementations, acting as integration consultant, which includes leveraging the following areas and skill sets:
- Utilizing and leveraging technical acumen related to Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Netsuite, Taleo, or other SaaS and On-Premise ERP systems; Workday system configuration, especially cloud integrations; ETL tools and/or data integration products; and, programming languages, including XSLT, SOQL, XML, and Java;
- Leading technical engagements and strategic decision-making down to the project planning levels, including managing multiple work streams;
- Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction, and motivate team members; understand personal and team roles; contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; and proactively provide real-time feedback;
- Leveraging PC applications, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project, and business levels of fluency, preferably in multiple languages, to develop strategy and write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management, including development and delivery of business proposals, conferences and whitepapers; and
- Producing deliverables within a diverse, fast-paced environment, collaborating effectively across teams and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
