Summary:
The Clinical Informatics New Technology and Experience Strategist, under the guidance of Clinical Informatics leadership, will evaluate and analyze current informatics trends at the local, state, and national levels and work to identify and support new innovations that improve the provider experience as it relates to technology. The team member will work collaboratively with Clinical Informatics staff, Information Technology, and the Palmetto Health Experience Team to advance new technologies that will improve the provider experience at Palmetto Health.

Responsibilities:
Maintains current skills with Palmetto Health clinical information systems.
Develops relationships with local, state, and national informatics counterparts, not limited to Cerner facilities.
Routinely reviews informatics literature, Informatics forums, and uCern to keep abreast of discussions, issues, and solutions.
Provides industry direction and contributes content for Clinical Informatics strategic planning sessions.
Evaluates and recommends future education strategies for end-users and support staff.
Evaluates new technologies that will improve healthcare delivery and provider experience.
Staging, implementation, and ongoing establishment of new technologies.
Analyzes current trends in the use of technology across the care continuum as related to usability, safety issues, mobility, regulatory requirements, and provider experience.
Strengthens and further enhances the relationships between informatics, hospital campuses, medical groups, service lines, and the ambulatory networks.
Builds a culture of excellence through enhanced physician, team member, patient, and guest experience.
Identifies, supports, develops, and publishes sustainable healthcare technology best practices; and collaborates with a variety of departments to ensure the consistent delivery of patient-centered care.
Performs special strategic projects as assigned.
Works with staff and users to further embrace social media as a tool for provider and staff engagement.
Attends meetings as necessary in collaboration with Directors and Project Managers.
Requirements:
Education: Master's degree in a related field required
Experience: Project management or program coordination experience required. Experience developing social media content to build awareness for an organization. Work in managing customer relationships and creating optimum customer experiences preferred.
License, Registry, or Certification Required: Maintain clinical licensure, if applicable.
Special Training: Proficient in Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
