Welder III
Multiple 2nd shift welding positions!
Seeking welders with flux-core, carbon arc gouging, and back gouging with carbon rod experience. Basic functions will be to set up and weld together metal components of products such as pipe, flanges, extensions and plates; identify, welds and repair defects in welded pipe with electric arc-welding equipment.
Requirements:
Education and/or
Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and sufficient experience to pass required competency test
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must pass basic Company level III welding test. ASME, AWWA or AWS preferred.
Equipment
Experience: Welding equipment (Mig, stick, submerged arc), grinders, hand tools, cutting torch, measuring instruments (weld gauges, tape measure), forklift.
Physical & Environmental Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
To maintain Level III weld status and Grade 7 welder, employee must successfully pass annual weld testEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
