Sanitation Supervisor


Summary: Responsible for the cleanliness of the production facility including but not limited to plant sanitation, pest control, food safety programs, and assumes role of primary SQF Practitioner in the absence of the Quality Assurance Manager.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Manage the plant sanitation program by reviewing, maintaining and updating Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures
o Responsible for training all plant associates on proper cleaning practices
o Responsible for creating, coordinating and implementing the Master Sanitation and the master Cleaning schedules
o Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of all cleaning products
o Must work closely with the Safety Manager & Corporate Regulatory Compliance Manager to assure that all safety protocols are adhered to when executing sanitation and pest control programs
o Manage the plant Integrated Pest Control Program by reviewing, maintaining and updating Integrated Pest Control Program Standard Operating Procedures
o Responsible for coordinating pest control inspections, pesticide applications and pest control training on an annual basis
o Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of all pesticide products and related MSDS
o Coordinate all internal Food Safety Self Inspections and Corrective Action plans
o Assist in all third party audits in order to facilitate plant readiness and inspection process flow
o Responsible for conducting daily plant inspections for cleanliness and food safety hazards
o Work closely with operations team leaders in order to ensure that corrective and preventive actions as related to sanitation and food safety are being implemented and maintained
o Supervise sanitation associates activities to ensure that they are following all standard operating procedures for the department

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/
Experience:
At least five years of sanitation experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
3-5 years of experience in a leadership position
Must have 2 year degree, Technical or Vocational or substitute with experience.
Must have a valid driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and coaching skills
Detail oriented and organized
Good computer skills
Strong background in HAACP; GMP; and AIB and SQF
Bilingual preferred but not required
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Supervisory responsibilities include monitoring associate performance for a regular group or work unit. This includes providing input on hiring; disciplinary actions; work objectives and their effectiveness and realigning associates as needed
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Work involves daily exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise.
Work environment involves daily exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
Position requires the ability to stand; sit at a desk; walking around office and plant; lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds; utilizing fine dexterity; and reaching, kneeling, crawling and twisting to inspect equipment. Also requires the ability to see; hear; and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette.
Personal protective equipment, as defined by the company will be provided.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
