Major international leader in food process manufacturing has need of production supervisors that are shift flexible to work at a large plant in central South Carolina. This facility provides thorough training for professional development. Responsible for manufacturing operations on a day to day basis. The selected individual will provide direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports through teamwork, continuous improvement initiatives and on-the-job assignments. It is a very fast paced environment. Offered is a very attractive benefit package and attractive bonus potential. There is 4 weeks paid time off (prorated from the start date) and their 401K matches $.75 on the dollar.
Must have a bachelor degree in Food Science(preferred), Animal Science, Industrial Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or related degree
A successful track record in high volume production supervision
Food process manufacturing experience needed and can be from various industries such as meat processing (preferred), grain milling, dairy, frozen, baking, etc.
Must be willing to work off shifts
Positive attitude, good communication and coaching skills
Selected individual needs to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
