PresenceLearning is hiring South Carolina-licensed/credential school social workers (LMSW) to provide high quality, evidence-based counseling to students at K-12 Schools. Social workers will provide live online counseling via the PresenceLearning technology platform, which includes high quality video conferencing, easy-to-use progress tracking tools and engaging activities to meet the social and emotional needs of your students.
You can work from anywhere in the world on a schedule you set for yourself. (The students will be on Eastern Time during school hours.) All Social Workers are hired as Independent Contractors and are paid an hourly rate. Work is generally part-time, but there is a possibility of close to full time hours if you seek them, depending on our school partners' counseling needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Master of Social Work Degree, which includes a minimum of 500 clock hours of supervised social work practicum experience;
Active South Carolina LMSW License
South Carolina Licensed School Social Worker Certification
Must have demonstrated knowledge/competence in four additional areas: 1) child psychopathology 2) diagnosis 3) educational disabilities and their impact on children and families 4) the practice of counseling in educational settings;
Computer, High Speed Internet, Camera (Strong computer skills/knowledge).
