Maintenance Mechanic - Manufacturing Facility


Huffmaster companies have an opportunity for the skilled position of Maintenance Mechanic for a potential labor dispute at a manufacturing facility located in Michigan. This work could take place at the beginning of May, 2015.

Pay Rate $35.00 per hour
12 Hours Shifts
6 to 7 day work weeks
Experience and Skill Requirements:
Must have experience working in a mechanical maintenance position in a manufacturing facility.
Knowledge of Welding; Mig, Tig, Acetylene, Arc
Ability to rebuild pumps; positive displacement, air diaphragm, centrifugal, etc.
Ability to rebuild hydraulic and air operated cylinders
Coupling, motor and gear box alignment, as well as Gear Box and Drive troubleshooting and alignment
Ability to read and understand blueprints for installation and repair
Knowledge of use of lathe, Mill, Cutoff Saws, and the ability to make parts from prints
Must be able to operate a fork and man lift
It is helpful if you have the experience in handling and repairing; web handling equipment, converting equipment, chemical recovery processes, boiler experience, pneumatic control systems, computer control systems (Accuray 1180), and Extruders
Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
What we provide:
Air Travel, if you will be driving we will only pay up to 300 miles one way.
Hotel Accommodations, 2 persons to a room (male/male), (female/female
Per Diem paid daily at the site.
