Project Leader (Chemical facility)
We are currently working on a Project Leader job search for a largechemical manufacturing plant in SC that is working with customers to build new facilities in the U.S. and abroad. The position involves domestic and international travel (about 25%). The Project Leader will work with various departments to ensure targets are met regarding project cost, performance, and progress. The Project Leader must have a BS Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree as this person will be heavily involved in process development initiatives working closely with customers, vendors, executive management, and department managers.
Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project and CII PDRI is a plus. Prior experience working withplant start-ups, construction and erection is a MUST. The position also requiresproject costing experience. The Project Leader must be able to read Engineering Design Packages including Engineering Calculations, Documents, Process Flow Diagrams, P&ID's, Equipment Specifications, and Electrical Drawings.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
