A solid personal injury law firm is seeking a workers comp paralegal/legal assistant.
Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate required
o 5
years of experience in workers compensation in a plaintiff's law firm setting
o Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
o Previous experience with Needles software required
o Professional demeanor and appearance required
o Expert Microsoft Office skills, Wordperfect, type 55+wpm
Responsibilities include:
o Daily contact with clients and WCC
o Handle case load of 100
cases
o Collect medical records and bills
o Prepare litigation documents, briefs and correspondence
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
