Vintage Artley Silver Plated 18-0 Flute In Brown Case Made for sale in Columbia, SC

1 of 1
I wish I could give some more information on this flute, but I don't play flute. I just like picking up vintage instruments. I have had this one for a while and it was old when I got it. It is missing one pad. The rest seem to be ok, but I can't say for sure since I don't play and they have been on there for a while. I do know that pads are simple to replace and you can buy a whole kit at Walmart for around 15 dollars, or you could a couple of years ago before our country took a turn for the worst. I haven't cleaned or polished it, I always leave vintage items in the condition I receive them. I know that many musicians and collectors prefer to clean them up themselves. It is an Artley 18-0 that was manufactured in Nogales, Arizona. The case has the usual wear but is solid and still in good shape for its age. I tried to get a bunch of different angles so you can zoom in and check the flute out. It's a nice old piece and needs some love! All of the Flutes I have seen that are from this era and are the same or similar have been listed as silver plated, so I am guessing this one is as well. I can't say for sure because I really don't know how to tell.
